StreetPilot 2650 supports all functionality of the predecessor 2610 and it is in addition equipped with system of navigating notation due to which is capable to continue to trace position in case of loss of satellites - for example, in conditions of high building or in a tunnel. For work of system the device is connected by a special cable to a speedmeter and to lanterns of a backing, connection of the device should be done by the qualified expert. At switching-off of a cable of navigating notation the device will work as StreetPilot 2610. As well as in younger model, in SreetPilot 2650 there is support WAAS, functions of voice helps, autolinings of a route, movement « turn behind turn ». The device is equipped with the big touch display with 256 colors, and an opportunity of remote control with the help of the board. The cartographical information enters the name on card memories Compact Flash (Type I and Type II) for which in the navigator it is stipulated special socket. With the help of the USB-interface data exchange with a computer is possible.
