As against other automobile navigating systems named portable, StreetPilot III does not demand entering of a monthly subscription payment, installation or the external processor. Instead of it the consumer can place a payment with a map of city streets in a demountable cartridge, insert it into the device, fix StreetPilot on the instrument panel of any vehicle and enjoy safe driving. It is the most convenient, portable autonavigating system in the market and it's price is lower than cost of any built in system.

StreetPilot III will really lead you on streets of the largest American cities " from turn to turn ", due to the function of automatic creation of a route. Having pressed the button, the user will receive the information on the shortest and fastest route with indexes of turns and about an estimated time of arrival in the planned destination. During movement, StreetPilot will having warned you about necessity of turn, informs about distance before the following turn, about a course deviation and about distance up to a terminal point of a route.

StreetPilot III Deluxe differs from StreetPilot III that the complete set includes a cartridge on 128 Mb (instead of 32 Mb) and MapSource City Navigator CD, with an opportunity free-of-charge to open all areas, instead of 1 as in usual complete set StreetPilot III.
